All green plants contain vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Some plants have a negligible amount, whilst others are more plentiful in what they offer. As a life long vegan, I view it as a necessary part of mine and my families daily life to eat wholesome food with nutritive abundance. There is no need to starve your body of what it needs to function when we are surrounded by botanical sources, most of which can be wild crafted - providing you ARE CERTAIN of what you are looking for! NEVER eat plants, roots or berries you CANNOT identify!! If you are interested in foraging, it is best to attend classes or groups with a professional herbalist or botanist otherwise you could accidentally poison yourself or someone else. Forage at your own risk.
